Designing your 8-week plan

1. Pick your onboarding areas.

Treat these as placeholders, but pick a set of topic areas and try to write a clear description of the goal. Feel free to drag to prioritize (perhaps based on what you are most to least comfortable with), and it will reorder the view in the next step.
Team
Who the team is and how it is structured
I've recommended my go-forward org structure (after meeting everyone on my team and my peers) and reset the hiring plan (including job descriptions and interview kits)
Business
How the business works
I've learned how our business / go-to-market model works and set a path for our next bets
Product
How the product works
I've learned how our product works and set a path for our next product bets
Technology
How our tech stack works
I've learned how our tech stack is built and can draw a picture for a new employee
Cadence
How the team works
I've published a doc on my go-forward meeting cadence, changed all the relevant meetings, and published new templates showing how I want each one to run.
Strategy
What our strategy is
I've written a strategy memo and sent it out to the team.

2. For each area, outline the key milestones.

Now outline a plan. For each area, go week by week and add a goal for where you want to be on that goal by that week.
