An inclusive tech event series for the citizens of Miami organized by Venture Miami, an initiative of the Mayor’s Office


🚀 THE KICKOFF


A 3-day Hackathon and Workshop Series from June 17th - 19th hosted by the Mayor’s Venture Miami & Miami-Dade College

💡 Hackathon participants will build solutions that help local job seekers find positions in tech companies.
🚀 200 hackers and 200 workshops attendees
📍 Miami-Dade College Wolfson Downtown Campus
👥 In partnership with Algorand, Unstoppable Domains, CityCoin, City Furniture, Near Protocol, and more.

We’re looking for partners to help us spread the word about this opportunity and reach as many citizens as possible.
It’s important for us to target nontraditional and underserved communities in tech.
We’re always open to suggestions in ways we can do this better.

Goals

Introduce citizens to the Miami Tech scene
Provide skills training for citizens interested in tech
Connect skilled practitioners with job opportunities with tech companies

Citizens who are completely new to tech
Skilled practitioners interested in creating solutions to local issues
