Strong, bold graphics and colours coming to fore. Some elements are so distinctive to running and offer lots of creative opportunities
Track lines and track colour
Stop watch typeface and time as a concept
Questioned why the neon nightclub aesthetic, what’s the link to running? These came out of result of collecting visually interesting lighting, but I take the point that I was subconsciously following a “VR aesthetic” that doesn’t fit here
Creative potential of using the track lines
Mo-cap that has elements of the track on a person, or somehow controls/animated elements of the track to express elements of the narrative
Playing with scale: big track, small track to express an element of narrative or progression of the narrative
Track that is the one visual element for all the narratives, e.g. it falls apart or envelops the user
How does the user interact with the track?
Could the track be a talking entity / guide through the narrative?
Creative potential of time as concept
Does time pass fast or slow? Do visual elements and sound go fast or slow?
What is time like with an injury or recovery? Are we in injury time?
Next steps
Consider creative writing to help answer some of these questions and explore creative narrative options in general
Where are we?
Why are we here?
What do we need to know?
What do we want to get out of this experience?
When are we? Past/future/present/injury time/
What does time feel like?
Who is talking to you?
Track as an entity, it has history
