Merry-go-round athlete story interactions

VO 1: “it was just that constant cycle...

Object: Shoe
Behaviour: Breaks apart and crumbles

VO 2: “if you look at our training we did everything similar up until that point

Object: Medal
Behaviour: Medal duplicates and one version floats away and the one that stays in the hand turns to dust

VO 3: “just before the race it flared up again but i wasn't ready”

Object: Spikey Massage Ball?
Behaviour: Object gets bigger and changes colour from its normal colour to red (pulsing?)

VO 4: “it's a strange feeling because i never had to think about my body before”

Object: holding a bunch of ice cubes or a block of ice
Behaviour: ice melts or becomes ‘unpredictable’ (maybe playing with gravity here or they have an erratic behaviour)

VO 5: “i mean i feel like i've tried everything to strengthen it”

Object: Many (see behaviour)
Behaviour: weight training and rehab equipment start to accumulate in your hands, you try and hold them, they start falling to the floor?

VO 6: “i just avoided being around the track”

Object: Vest
Behaviour: Vest gets blown away off your hands ‘cast aside’

VO 7: “i remember being on a training session and i was just like what am i doing with my life”

Object: Rain and or lots of different objects (maybe the ones that have come before) these could all be quite small
Behaviour: there is a trickle of rain/objects in front of you. You place your hand under the trickle and this triggers the VO. IT also triggers much more rain and objects to fall

VO 8: “it will always be that thing of what could have been”

Objects: The objects from the previous scene remain on the floor. Medals appear, some of them are lit up.
Behaviour: When you pick one up the VO starts. (You are left holding the medal? The medal fades?)
