Practice: Travel a Route

This assignment is intended to help you practice using GoodMaps Explore to travel independently from one location to another in our school. Follow these steps to complete the assignment:

Route #1 – Gymnasium

STEP ONE: Visit the Directory and search for the gymnasium.

STEP TWO: Select the gymnasium from the Directory results, and choose either a walking route or a route that avoids stairs.

STEP THREE: Follow the instructions, and when you are ready, begin your route.

STEP FOUR: When you arrive at the gymnasium, end the route and follow the instructions to provide feedback about your route.

Route #2 – Restroom

STEP ONE: Now, visit the Directory and search for a men's or women's restroom.

STEP TWO: Follow the instructions, and when you are ready, begin your route.

STEP THREE: When you arrive at the restroom, end the route and follow the instructions to provide feedback about your route.

Route #3 – Main Entrance

STEP ONE: Now, visit the Directory and search for the main entrance to your building.

STEP TWO: Follow the instructions, and when you are ready, begin your route.

STEP THREE: When you arrive at the main entrance, end the route and follow the instructions to provide feedback about your route.

Additional Routes

Continue to practice using the GoodMaps app for navigation around your school until you feel like you fully understand how it works.
