Our Voice

Simple

We want to be conversational and simple in all our writing. We try to go for a 5th grade reading level. This allows more people in more places to be a part of what we are doing. We also think it’s just more powerful!

Have you ever been a part of a lecture and started to zone out? But then the speaker starts telling a story - what happens? You re-focus. We want to be consistently improve as story tellers. Story telling can often inspire and equip more effectively than simply listing some bullet points (we do use bullet points too though!)
