Who is Jarvis?
Jarvis is an AI scheduling assistant that helps you schedule meetings and much more via simple messages within Slack. It is a chatbot that integrates with Slack and Google calendar at the back. Jarvis can be accessed with a few simple commands through directly DM in the Jarvis app or tagging Jarvis within a channel.
How Jarvis works ?
Jarvis works by integrating with your calendar and your messaging platform, such as Slack. Once you've installed Jarvis in your Slack app, you can start using it to schedule meetings and manage your calendar.
To schedule a meeting, simply type a message in your Slack channel with the details of the meeting, such as the title, date, and time. Jarvis will then use its natural language processing capabilities to understand your message and find the best time for everyone in the group. It will then book the meeting on your calendar and send invitations to all participants.
Find 30mins with @amy and @adam tomorrow evening to discuss the Project X.
In addition to scheduling meetings, Jarvis also allows you to block time on your calendar with just one message. You can also ask Jarvis to show you your calendar by sending a message, and it will display your schedule in a user-friendly format.
Jarvis works by continuously learning from your interactions and improving its natural language processing capabilities. As a result, it becomes more accurate and efficient over time.
Please note that Jarvis is currently in closed alpha, so access is limited. If you're interested in using Jarvis, you can request access on our website.

Which meeting platform you currently support ?
Jarvis currently supports Google Meet, but we are working on integrating with other meeting platforms like Zoom, GoTo, Webex etc. Please request any other integration here.
How do you find the time between participants
Jarvis uses a sophisticated algorithm to find the best time for a meeting across a group of participants. It takes into account various factors such as the availability of each participant, the duration of the meeting, and any existing conflicts on each participant's calendar.
When you send a message to Jarvis requesting a meeting, it uses natural language processing to understand the details of the meeting, including the title, date, and duration. It then checks the calendars of all participants to determine their availability during the requested time. If there are any conflicts, Jarvis will automatically suggest alternative times that work for everyone.
Once Jarvis has found the best time for the meeting, it will send invitations to all participants and book the meeting on their calendars. This process is seamless and happens in just one message, saving you time and reducing the likelihood of scheduling conflicts.
In addition, Jarvis supports multiple timezones, so you can easily schedule meetings with participants in different parts of the world. When scheduling a meeting across timezones, Jarvis will automatically convert the meeting time to the local time of each participant.
How you find time across multiple timezones ?
Jarvis can handle scheduling across multiple time zones. It suggests times that work for everyone based on their local time zones. We consider 8am-8pm for any participant in their local time as the working time. We are working to make the working time customisable for individual.
My company uses zoom, how should I schedule zoom meetings instead google meet ?
At the moment, Jarvis supports only Google Meet. However, we are working on integrating with other meeting platforms, including Zoom, WebEx, GoTo. Please write to us on product@h-jarvis.com for any other requirements.
It doen’t show other time slots correctly ?
Please make sure that your calendar is up to date and that you have given Jarvis permission to access it.
Also for showing extra time slots, we consider only next 10 slots from the first slot suggested by Jarvis.
How to uninstall Jarvis ?
To uninstall Jarvis, simply go to the Apps section in Slack, find Jarvis, and click "Remove App."
I am not able to install Jarvis app in slack.

Also in certain workspaces, Slack apps are restricted by Slack admins. If that’s the case please write to us on ayush@hi-jarvis.com and we’ll talk to your IT admin to get the app for you.
Why Jarvis always puts a meeting for 30 mins ?
Jarvis picks 30 mins as the default time slot in case the duration isn’t mentioned explicitly in the scheduling command. You can always mention the duration in your command and jarvis will understand and book the meeting accordinly.
We are also working on creating a user dashboard where you can configure your default meeting time.
Ex- You can write ‘Hey Jarvis, schedule 15mins with @mybestbud tomorrow evening to discuss Project X’
