3. Testing Page Views
Let’s assume that the tag/pixel is already installed on the target website. Once the Snowplow Inspector is running, you are expected to see “Page Ping”
Hover the mouse cursor to the Page Ping and verify if it shows collector-azsx401.dmp.cnna.ioas a collector
Page Ping signifies that the tag/pixel is capturing user session data
Note: If Page Ping is not showing, it means that the pixel/tag is not properly placed or set upped
Note: If there are multiple colors on the Snowplow events, make sure to check that the collector is from collector.dmp.cnna.io
4. Testing Transactions
Proceed to the website shop page
Add items to the cart
Checkout the items that were added to the cart
Once the purchase is completed, you are expected to see the “Transactions” event data in the Snowplow Inspector pane. Hover the mouse cursor to the Transaction and make sure that the collector is from collector.dmp.cnna.io
Click the Transaction event and you can see the details of that event. You are expected to see the total purchase of that transaction
Transaction event signifies that the transaction/revenue is being successfully pulled by the tag/pixel installed on their website
Note: If Page Ping and Transaction Ping are not showing, it means that the pixel/tag is not properly placed or set upped
Note: If there are multiple colors on the Snowplow events, make sure to check that the collector is from collector.dmp.cnna.io
5. Testing the pixel/tag via Dashboard
Login to your white-label dashboard
Proceed to Org Config by clicking the Profile Icon on the upper-right corner and clicking the item that has 2 person-icon (Org Config)
You will be redirected to the Org Config Page. Click the Tracking Tab
