When you install the plugin to your application, go to Bubble “Settings” and open API tab. Click “Generate a new API token” to get Bubble API private key or copy an existing one. Then go to the plugin section and find the “API token” field in the plugin description. Paste the code in this field.
When you set the API key, go to the application design page. The rich text editor will appear in the input forms section:
Place it anywhere on your map, and the editor will instantly start to work.
Now you can double click on the editor element field and open the editor options:
The first dropdown field lets you select the Regular or Tooltip toolbar. The regular toolbar appears in a table with all of the selected buttons visible above. Meanwhile, if you select the tooltip toolbar, the buttons will be invisible until you write and select the text:
If you will scroll down for a bit you will see that there are many fields to be marked or selected from the dropdown list that lets you fully customize the toolbar appearance of your editor:
While scrolling down you will find the image autodelete option and these 3 fields. The function is currently not working but it will become available with the next update. Leave the fields blank for now.
At the bottom of the Appearance page you can find the options to select the background and border styles from the list:
Moving to the Layout page you will see the fields that let you to set custom dimensions and margins of your editor:
This plugin has two workflow actions. You can set the reset (delete text) or focus on the text buttons while creating one simple action field.
