Key Terms

Assessment

The ongoing effort for determining the Institution’s effectiveness to meet its goals and objectives.

Goal

A general, and often not measurable, hope or ambition that the institution seeks to accomplish.

Objective

An intended result that is specific and measurable.

Outcome

The end-result of a set of activities that has been measured and demonstrated as the product of its activities.
