Fixed, variable and observation days

No pack required - a yearly automation does the job

We have three types of holidays:

Fixed dates like New Year’s Day

Variable dates like Labor Day

Observation dates.

An automation runs once a year (or more if you want) to update the dates.

You can use

DB Holidays⁠

as a sync page or in a cross doc to fuel other documents.

via a sync page you cannot access the values living in the table

via a CD you can use the values in your table in the target doc, no need for two way sync.

Can I use AI to get this list with updated USA holidays?

Maybe you can, but I am not sure. When it comes to calculations AI is not good enough yet to my taste. Sometimes it works and sometimes not. When it comes to money related issues, I don't use AI and relay on code which is predictable. You can use AI to translate the holidays in Spanish for example.

You copy the tables in your own workspace and from there you can use parts of it as you see fit.
