Is there a limitation on docs and thus subscriptions?
No. You can add as many docs as you want. You add one doc per row and you can add 10K rows and it still will work fine. When you have more docs, you better look for a different solution, not because coda cannot handle it, but you may need quite some functionality already available in the market place like payments and payment feedback.
Why is it expensive?
The Coda market is tiny. Only a few templates will be sold. These few buyers have to compensate for the lack of volume. Nevertheless it is cheaper than asking an expert building this for you. Although the solution looks simple, it is not, but I promise you it is elegant and may you want to improve your Coda skills, it will push your boundaries.
Over time this template will become more expensive (that is by the way true for all templates). Make your own calculation and accept that sometimes a manuel process is the best practice.
In my work with clients this work is integrated at an hourly fee.
How is AI applied?
You can add the OCR pack that unpacks the pdf and you can ask AI for a summary and or to fill out a table as explained . The best way to add docs
A better way to add docs is to split between the doc that contains the doc an a place that brings in the doc via a form. It permits anybody with access to the form to add docs.
The better way to follow up on subscriptions
We use alerts triggering automations redirecting you to , however it is better to have a dashboard showing which subscriptions are due the next 7 to 14 days with some smart filters and I repeat use a form to bring in the data. Ideally most people will never see a table. Since this is a template for makers, I present it all together, but in my work with clients I split data gathering and data manipulation and retrieval.
