Up to date holidays and an easy to apply example

info

No pack required - code is easily adapted

We have two types of holidays:
Based on Easter, which depends on a complex calculation, part of the doc. This code avoids using AI or a pack. Once a year an automation runs to keep the values in check.
Based on country or region specific variables, you can overwrite for your region
Some of these holidays result in ‘bridging’ days. This happens when a day off is on a Tuesday or Thursday. Often the days before and after the weekend are taken off as well. One is for the organisation, one for the employee. The overviews tell you what to expect and when. Any HRM manager loves such an overview.
The school holidays are communicated by the government and all you have to do is put them into a table.
This kind of logic I apply on a regular basis with my EU clients and I consider it as one of my base templates in my Coda toolbox.
