The course aims to enhance students' Python programming skills through physics and data science problem-solving, preparing them for the smart grids management course in the second semester. Students work in pairs to develop applications visualizing concepts from physics, mathematics, and electrical circuits. The course also covers graph, time series, and plotting libraries for displaying electrical networks and data analysis.
Main learning outcomes:
Learn Python scripting for scientific problems, use essential libraries (numpy, matplotlib, pandas, networkx, scipy, pygame), graphically represent data, revisit electrical circuit concepts, and extract information from raw data using statistics and plots.
