Board Deck [🌟 New 24/3]

info
While I highly familiar with pitch decks & investor updates. A great board deck is probably something less familiar to me. So I went out and asked a few VCs and founders what they and their board members enjoyed about good board decks and governance. While I’m fairly sure hatch is an advisory board capacity until Series A it’s good to get ahead of the curve in preparation for a Series A.
More importantly in the next 12-18 months will the cadence and leveraging investors through our monthly investment updates. [Coming Soon]
For the I leaned heavily into Creandum’s Board Deck template. Other funds like Sequoia & Bain have resources however they are far less relevant for Seed - Series A companies.
Board Meetings at Hatch take place every 2-3 months. There a great opportunity for us to pulse check with people that are outside of our regular cadence on things like major strategic decisions, hiring, product roadmap and KPI targets.
