Hey Alex, I whipped up this doc for you to show how to build your dream dynamic to-do list in Coda. It took me 24 minutes to build this from scratch 🤯
You can customize this doc however you wanted, but below are two possible solutions to give you an idea of how this could work.
It’s best to create your own copy of the doc so you can play with it. To copy, just click this button:

Solution #1: Buttons
One solution is to log a ticket when a button is pressed. This may not be exactly what you were looking for, but worth showing because it’s so simple :)
Solution #2: Automations
Note: you need to copy this doc to see the automation in action.
In this solution, we log a ticket any time a value in the below is updated. Try it out! Change something and watch a ticket appear
Once you copy the doc, try updating the name, date, or description of a project below. You’ll notice that after you make the change, a a ticket is created automatically (can take up to 10 sec or so). You can then assign the ticket to people.
This happens because of an automation I’ve set up in the doc settings.
And that’s it! Let me know if you have questions - on twitter.
