Femme House 30 day challenge 2023

This amazing challenge increases the daily challenge you do until you are writing songs.

It assumes you don’t have any music prod experience but some ableton knowledge.

I had watched one set of ableton tutorials on noiselab. i would just sing into my laptop.

They had a discord server where we would chat and it seriously gave me an advantage to have all this fun right before the music prod school month.

DAY 3! The first song ever on ableton!

DAY 4! So much more like a song but so insanely compressed as fuck wow those vocals hurt very overdriven

Day 6! So cringe but I’m really trying to build songs that aren’t sparse

Day 7 is evidence I am much more fun when they aren’t my vocals

Day 9 - I stopped here I think. This is the first song I ever tried to flesh out and make more serious. I was so freaking proud of it but frustrated with my voice being so pure

Day 11 - Made a weirdly fun little song that has a Brazilian beat apparently

Day 12 - Made my first song with vocals I didn’t hate. Someone suggested I sing like I talk to be less pure sounding

Day 15 - I learned about abeton’s note app on the ipad and sampled the kettle switch, spoons, my own cackle. This one is real gnarls i love it. loving using ableton scenes here

Day 19 - Last day I did. This one samples my hat flapping, things knocking wood, spoons on cups, my opera notes all mostly in the ableton note app, going to the computer to arrange it as scenes.
