QEMZ (Zip)

QEMZ is a basic container format for QEM files, containing any necessary files for a map alongside one or more QEM files. It might contain the map’s audio, cover, video, or any other assets used by a QEM file, or it might be missing one or more of these assets. If using this format for your own purposes, you must assume that some assets you require may be missing and should check for them while reading a QEM file.

If a file is contained in a QEMZ directory that is not a QEM file, it must have a corresponding entry in at least one QEM’s Path Block so that a program reading the QEMZ file knows how to process each file.

Files in a QEMZ that are not listed in a QEM’s Path Block may be ignored and/or discarded depending on how the application processing the QEMZ is configured.
