It’s important to outline broadly who it is that your brand is targeting. At Underscore we have four loose persona’s that we target. We use alliteration to try to make their names and their attributes memorable.
Note/Warning: Your personas should be fairly specific so as to really bring your target customer to life. However, personas if taken too literally can be exclusionary. For that reason, our persona deck always has an opening note reminding people that labels are for jars and we’ve moved toward persona four-by-fours that allow us to plot our targets on a spectrum.
