Lovelyn Andrawus, hailing from Nigeria, is a dynamic force in the realm of environmental advocacy and activism. As an Environmentalist, author, and climate and gender justice activist, she ignites change through her relentless commitment to sustainability.

With a keen expertise in waste management and a fervent belief in a just energy transition for all, Lovelyn spearheads initiatives as the Chapter head of the Fridays For Future Northern Nigeria. Here, she catalyzes climate activism and amplifies the voices of young climate activists, fostering a culture of change across Nigeria.

A beacon of inspiration, Lovelyn is renowned for her groundbreaking work in raising awareness about climate change. She champions grassroots climate action, advocating for the rights of indigenous people, particularly young girls, and tirelessly promotes the importance of climate justice.

In her recent endeavor, Lovelyn unveiled her masterpiece, "Adventure of Zira and Kuve," a captivating eco-comic book designed to instill environmental awareness and foster behavioral change from an early age. Through this innovative approach, she sparks curiosity and cultivates a generation of eco-conscious leaders.

Beyond her literary achievements, Lovelyn is the visionary Founder of the Kwaji Environmental Education Foundation. This local non-governmental organization is dedicated to addressing climate change impacts on humanity and bridging the knowledge gap among young people. With a mission to empower youth towards climate-resilient and environmentally conscious action, the foundation is instrumental in shaping a sustainable future in Africa.

Lovelyn's academic pursuits further underscore her dedication to environmental stewardship. A graduate student of Environmental Science at the prestigious University of Kaduna, she holds a professional certification in Basic Disaster Management from the Institute of Disaster Management and Safety Science. Additionally, she has honed her expertise through professional courses at the esteemed Oxford School of Climate Change and as a trained Climate Reality Leader under the guidance of former Vice President Al Gore.
