Good afternoon,

Here is the information for our upcoming trip to Greater Miami Academy (GMA) / Arise Miami SDA Church / West Palm Beach SDA Church (WPB) See the Itinerary attached.

Date: This four-day event will take place Thursday, April 9 - Sunday, April 12.

Load Time: 30 Minutes before each leave time (see below)

Leave Time: 8:00 am Thursday / ETA: 9:00 pm Thursday (with a potential 30 minute stop)

Your classes are excused from 8am on Thursday - Should the team need to leave later please discuss with your leaders

Age Range:

GMA - Academy Students ~14-18 years old

ARISE - All ages

WPB - All (church service)

Location:

FRIDAY AM: Greater Miami Academy, 500 NW 122nd Ave Suite 5000, Miami, FL 33182 - 12 hours away

FRIDAY PM: ARISE SDA Church, 14266 SW 119th Ave, Miami, FL 33186

SABBATH AM: West Palm Beach Spanish SDA Church, 2727 Georgia Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33405-1133

Attendance Expectation:

GMA - 200

ARISE - 100-150

WPB - 150

Drivers – Carlos, EJ, Sophia. Van keys will be ready for pick up on Wed, April 9.

When leaving the Miami area to head to WPB, keep in mind you will need to be on the road by about 6:15AM on Sabbath morning to make it to WPB’s Sound Check on time.

The dress code is dressy casual. The first day should be Southern shirts or Engage hoodies.

Sets: You will need to prepare 3 sets of 3-6 songs each (see below for specifics).

Friday: 2 Sets.

GMA - 4 songs

ARISE Vespers - ~8 songs

Saturday: 1 Set

WPB Sabbath AM - 6 Songs

Song Lyrics - Gian & EJ – Please send the lyrics in a ProPresenter 7 format. Please make sure to do this ASAP so we can have it ready.

AV Needs – Provided by GMA and ARISE

Recruitment – Caleb - Please pick up the recruiting bag and merch before you leave. They will provide time for a drawing and to promote Southern.

Meals - 1 meal will be covered each way, up to $20 which equal 2 meals total for the trip.

Finances - Elias - Please pick up petty cash at Leticia's Office. Engage will provide only two meals, 1 going and 1 coming back $20 per person max. You will have money for gas and the rest will be brought back. Remember to use the tax-exempt form in FL.

Leaves: Remember to put in a leave in Residence Life if applicable.

Drums: Yes
