‘New York Nico’ is a great example of the power of social media to positively impact his community. I first learned about the story on ABC’s
Localish

about how Nick influence others to shop at local mom and pop shops in New York City to save them from being shut down. Many of these are iconic businesses in the neighborhood. Recent pandemic lockdowns put them at risk. Inspired by Nick’s story, I built a template for others to customize as personal gift lists, add more shops.
