Trading Resources
Trading is the main motor of the economy in PVC_PMC.
Every item can be sold to Merchants from various factions for Plastic.
Most items can be bought from Merchants, as they have an ever changing inventory.
Plastic
Plastic is the main currency of the game, representing the weight of an item in plastic, as it is the material used by the Omni-Printer for maintenance and production of the Operators.
Its value changes slightly during the day to emulate a stock exchange value with the different factions, and specific events in the Endless War can alter its value more drastically.
Merchants
Merchants are NPCs in the Omni-Printer that specialize in various goods.
The Player can interact with them to open a trading screen, showing both of their Stashes and a trading space in the middle.
Here’s a list of the Merchants with their specialty:
Jovian Death Merchants: Weapons Moon Dealers: Hobgoblin Parts and Electrical Gear Navy Recruiter: Griffin Parts and Military Gear Pirate Representative: Drone Parts and Scrap Gear
Every Merchant has a locked set of items that they always sell, including ammo and basic resources.
The rest of their inventory is procedural, and always contains X Weapons, X Items of a certain tier, etc. See The Merchants’ Inventory changes after every raid.

Reputation
Trading with Merchants increases your reputation with their Faction.
Having a higher reputation lowers the price of items bought and increases the price of items sold.
It also adds more items to their item pool.
The Terminal
Print Dispenser
The Terminal allows the Players to redeem items in exchange for Printing Credits.
These credits are looted during missions, or won as rewards for . They come in five tiers:
Each credit guaranties an item of its rarity, and has a higher percentage of granting higher quality items.
1 Tier Item + 1 to 4 Items with descending chances of being of the same tier. The reward pool rotates each day at UTC 00h00, and can contain the following:
X items of each tier per category are chosen each day, hidden to the Player until they redeemed their first reward.
Resource Printer
The Terminal can be used to redeem basic resources, like ammo, and tier one weapons and Hardware.
Only one item can be printed simultaneously, unless the Terminal is . The Printing Process takes time, elapsed in Mission Time.
This Process is free of charge.
The Operator Exchange Program
The O.E.P. allows Players to sell and buy items from each other.
A trade consists of one item from the Player’s Stash, and one item category and tier.
A trade can be submitted to the O.E.P. for free, after which it is available for others Players to see.
Only one trade can be active at a time.
Once another Player submits an item corresponding to the category and tier the other asked for, the trade is completed.
When another Player completes an offer the Player posted, the asked Item arrives in the O.E.P.
The Insurance Bank
The Insurance Bank is a service that prevents item loss upon death or loss.
For a sum paid in Plastic, Players can retrieve their items after some time.
This time is elapsed in Mission Time, or Real Time.
The following items can be insured:
Gadgets (Grenades, Batteries...)
Items can be insured before a raid, and stay insured for the duration of the raid, after which the items lose their insurance.
Items will be returned at the Durability Level they were at when they were lost.
Third Party Looters
The Operators and their Omni-Printers are a third-party in the Endless War, and as such they deal with everyone.
Their main currency is Plastic, in big rolls, representing PLA rolls used in 3D-Printers.
The Operator Exchange Program reinforce the fact that there are thousands of other Omni-Printers in the Solar System, and that they’re part of a larger force.
