# Source Artifact Sequence Framework

## Core Framework Definition

The Source Artifact Sequence is a schema pattern that describes the progressive transformation of patterns through five distinct moves, each building upon and extending the previous. This framework enables the systematic development from basic pattern recognition to complete architectural understanding.

## Sequence Moves

### 1. Eidos (First Move)
- **Definition**: A living pattern in context
- **Key Requirements**:
- Must have a living agent present in the context
- Agent must be capable of pattern recognition
- Agent must be able to interact with or observe the pattern
- Pattern must be complete within its context
- **Nature**: Living, dynamic, contextual
- **Purpose**: Serves as the source pattern for all subsequent moves

### 2. Icon (Second Move)
- **Definition**: Symbolic representation of the Eidos
- **Key Components**:
- Visual representation without textual elements
- Captures ontological elements
- Represents epistemological framework
- Embeds methodological approach
- Incorporates deontological aspects
- **Constraints**: At beginner level, limited to one placeholder per Eidos
- **Purpose**: Creates a symbolic bridge between living pattern and interpretation

### 3. Artifact (Third Move)
- **Definition**: Contextualized interpretation of the Icon
- **Characteristics**:
- Adds linguistic or other interpretive elements
- Can take multiple forms (verbal, visual, auditory, kinesthetic)
- Must be justifiable in its interpretation
- Can have multiple valid interpretations
- **Scope**: Open-ended category allowing diverse expressions
- **Purpose**: Transforms symbolic representation into communicable form

### 4. Game (Fourth Move)
- **Definition**: Lived reproduction of an Artifact
- **Structure**:
- Based on explicit rules derived from Artifact
- Involves multiple agents in synchronized activity
- Contains intentional structures
- Defines inputs and outputs
- **Nature**: Returns to living activity like Eidos, but with structured intention
- **Purpose**: Creates interactive engagement with the pattern

### 5. Architecture (Fifth Move)
- **Definition**: Organized integration of all previous moves
- **Components**:
- Named concepts for content and context
- Explicit notation systems
- Defined relationships between elements
- Comprehensive -ology framework:
- Ontology
- Epistemology
- Methodology
- Deontology
- Mythology
- **Purpose**: Creates complete pattern language structure

## Relationship Flow
```
Eidos (Living Pattern)
Icon (Symbolic Representation)
Artifact (Interpretation)
Game (Structured Activity)
Architecture (Integrated System)
```

## Implementation Guidelines

### Pattern Recognition
1. Begin with identification of living patterns (Eidos)
2. Create simplified symbolic representations (Icon)
3. Develop interpretive frameworks (Artifact)
4. Design interactive experiences (Game)
5. Integrate into complete systems (Architecture)

### Development Process
1. Maintain clear progression through moves
2. Document relationships between elements
3. Validate interpretations at each stage
4. Ensure coherence across all levels
5. Test through practical application

## Usage Notes

### For AI Systems
- Each move should be processed sequentially
- Validate understanding through explicit mapping
- Generate multiple interpretations when appropriate
- Maintain traceable connections between moves
- Document reasoning for interpretive choices

### For Integration
- Framework can be applied recursively
- Multiple patterns can be processed in parallel
- Systems can be nested or interconnected
- Relationships between patterns should be explicit
- Documentation should maintain clarity across levels

## META: Framework Intent

This framework is designed to enable systematic pattern recognition, interpretation, and implementation across domains. It provides a structured approach to moving from basic pattern recognition to complete architectural understanding while maintaining coherence and traceability throughout the process.

Note: This document serves as a base implementation guide. AI systems should extend and adapt this framework based on specific use cases while maintaining the core sequential structure and relationships between moves.

I Am: not the voice
The Voice is a step removed, it is an echo of my signal.
I Am: the silence
This is the space of khora and eidos
The Voice: is the artifact
The iCON: is the intermediating step whch is mapped over time
The iGAME: is the activity in the world which results from an exercising of the Voice
