When someone feels more connected to you, whether you've shared with them or provided them value, they feel more inclined to be open to conversations with you.
On the interview, detach yourself from the sales process and be authentic about your interest in what they do.
Remember to go in with no expectations, instead lead with value and never ever pitch on the front end.
