Sample Rate


The way a computer plays sound is by reading a list of numbers very fast. A sample is the name we give to a each number on this list.

Sample Rate indicates the resolution of the sound. How many values are saved each second of a sound. This means that if we get a smaller Sample rate, we will have a lighter and faster to react sound but it with less quality.
