A Better Feel

Assuming you have your and
worked out I recommend these pages.
and/or (different perspectives on same theme)
That’s it!
Now my chip, pitch, pre-drill routine and full-swing are all the same.
Here are 3 key positions of a better feel:

Club face is on same angle as spine and is ball side of hands.

Club shaft has not overtaken hands at impact.

Club face is still open and ball side of hands. Hands are in front of chest.
As I transition from a very much “timiing” feel to this feel. I have noted that the feeling is more of a square club face through much of the down swing feel. I am not rolling the wrists, hoping I rolled them at the correct time. I am not playing golf all day, every day trying to find and hold on to that “timing” of the move. I did that and it worked. However, I don’t have that time or my hitting bay for a while yet. Instead, with this new feel I find that I can go a few days without playing and get right back to where I need to be. I also find that it is not dependent on a grip or sequencing specific body movements. What the body does is important of course and I work on that too but my results are now more about my wrists and less about my body.
