Option 1: Visit the CommLab. To earn up to 4 points of extra credit on major assignments (Projects 0-3):
Have an in-person or virtual (not asynchronous) session in the CommLab to work on any part of the project, at any stage in your composition process prior to submitting the final draft.
Provide evidence that you attended the session. Evidence may include a copy of your appointment confirmation, a picture of you in the CommLab, or a screenshot of your Zoom session (ask the consultant’s permission if they will be visible in pictures or screenshots).
Write a 1-page summary of what you discussed in the session, what you learned, and how it contributed to the writing/revision process, due 48 hours after the CommLab session.
Option 2: Write a feedback reflection. To earn up to 2 points of extra credit on major assignments (Projects 0-3):
Write a 1-paragraph summary of the feedback you received on your assignment and 1 paragraph explaining how you will use this feedback to do better on your next major assignment, due 48 hours after receiving feedback.
