Candidate Criteria

The SMART framework allows you to set realistic and measurable goals your team can achieve in 2021 and beyond. SMART is an acronym with each letter giving you a mindset for setting goals:

Move-in Date:
Candidates needing housing within the next week (+/- 3 days) take priority.
Example: If today is August 1st, the ideal candidate needs housing by August 8th. Applications from candidates needing housing as early as August 5th are acceptable. The best candidate would be one needing housing between August 8th and August 11th.

Extended Consideration:
Candidates requiring housing beyond 7 days (e.g., after August 8th) will also be considered.
Priority:
Candidates without pets are preferred.

Consideration:
Candidates with pets may still be accepted if the pets are deemed suitable.
Candidates must be okay with:
Private Room Rentals
Roommates
Shared Bathroom
No Washer/Dryer: (Applies only to Blaine Dr. properties)
Priority:
Candidates planning to stay 3 months or longer.
Minimum Stay: 30 days.
Whole Unit:
3 guests with a budget of $3,200+
1-2 Bedrooms or Basement Unit:
2 guests with a budget of $2,300
Bedroom:
1 guest with a budget of $1,100 → $1,400
Immediate Candidates:
Follow-up on Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3 for candidates within the date range criteria.
Later Candidates:
Follow-up on Day 1, Day 3, and Day 7 for candidates beyond the date range criteria.
