The primary sources of information relating to a provider would be the organisation website, and direct contact.

: Engagement via their preferred method is likely to yield the most accurate results. Check the cadence on the assurance to establish when each provider should be assured.

The name of the provider, usually a company, organisation or charity.
Is this the provider name, not a description of the services provided?
Is this how the provider is commonly known? (i.e. not it’s Legal Name)

A Categorisation of provider, based on a pre-defined list
Does this categorisation match up with the services the provider is known to run?

A description of what the provider does and an outline of the types of services provided
Is the description easy to read?

The website of the provider
Is this a general website address, rather than service specific? Should represent the provider.

This is the name or role of the person who should be contacted to enquire to this organisation
Has this person been contacted?
Is this the name of someone still happy to be contacted about the provider?

The Job Role of the designated contact
Is this the correct role title for the contact?

Either the Email address of the dedicated contact, or a general email address.
Send an email to this address to check it still exists,
If not publicly listed on their own website, ask the provider if it is still the correct email address?

Either the telephone number of the dedicated contact, or a general number for the organisation
Is the phone number listed on their own website?
