The Designor – Profit Suite includes:
💰 Income Table – record every earning source
💸 Expenses Table – track spending by category or vendor
📊 Profit Summary – calculate totals and net profit
🎯 Goals & Insights – set monthly targets and measure progress
🗂️ Archive Data – automatically stores each month’s results with insights
📈 Charts – visualize performance and category trends

⚙️ Quick Setup (5-Minute Start)

1️⃣ Set Your Monthly Goal

📍 Located in the “Goals & Insights” section.
Enter your target profit or use the goal slider
Watch Goal Progress (%) and profit visuals update automatically

2️⃣ Add Income Entries

💵 Go to the Income table → click the ➕ row at the bottom.
Fill in:
📅 Date
💵 Amount
🏷️ Category (e.g. Digital Product, Subscription, Service)
🗒️ Notes (optional)

3️⃣ Add Expense Entries

💸 In the Expenses table:
Enter Date, Amount, Category, and Vendor
Keep category names consistent with Income for accurate comparisons

4️⃣ Review Profit Summary

📊 The Profit Summary updates automatically:
Total Income, Total Expenses, and Net Profit
Profit Bar visually compares income vs. expenses
Charts show trends across time and categories

📦 Archiving Your Data (Automatic)

Each time you refresh your dashboard:
Current month entries move to the Archive Data page
Totals for Income, Expenses, and Net Profit are saved automatically
Your dashboard resets for a clean new month

💬 Example Insight:

🎨 Customize Your Dashboard

💡 Edit or Add Categories

In the Income or Expenses table → click Category dropdown
Choose Edit Options
Add tags like Client Work, Software Tools, Investments, etc.
Keep category names identical across tables for clean analytics.

The Profit Suite uses a consistent colour palette for clarity:

Right-click any chart, stat card, or button → Format → Colour Choose a palette matching your brand style.

⚙️ Controls & Filters

Enhance usability with optional filters:
📅 Time Period: This Month / All Time / Custom Range
🏷️ Category Filter: quickly isolate categories or vendors
🧩 Optional: create a 🔄 Refresh Dashboard button → Insert → Button → Run Actions → Recalculate Formulas.

📅 End-of-Month Routine

✅ Review Profit Summary totals
📸 Export or screenshot your dashboard
🔁 Click Rebuild Monthly Data (clears current month)
🗓️ Update your Monthly Goal for the next cycle
All prior months are safely stored in Archive Data.

Record entries weekly for the best accuracy
Let the Archive system handle month resets automatically
Keep one dashboard per year for a tidy archive

🧠 Troubleshooting

If something doesn’t calculate correctly:
Check date formatting in both tables
Confirm category names match exactly
Remove any blank or zero-amount entries
Press Full Sync or Refresh Dashboard to recalc formulas
