Under Construction

I’m in the process of updating my portfolio. In the meantime, here are a few screenshots of more recent projects.

Schedule viewer:

Project managers wanted a way to view the work hours of all their creatives at once, so they could see who was available when (light blue), who was assigned how much (darker blue), and who was booked for more hours than they had available (red). We researched (and I ideated) for months

Users can drill down to see a creative’s assigned tasks, helping project managers know how to reassign tasks to bring balance to the workforce.

Communicating to stakeholders the need for a unified Design System:

After an acquisition led to our product offering having two distinct Design Systems, I crafted a transition plan to unify them into one, and pitched to stakeholders the value of and need for the transition. Here are some snapshots of the presentation.

It’s essential for a company to be on the same page about the brand identidy and brand personality—not just the style guidelines—because both marketing and product design can then work separately but still create a cohesive brand experience for prospects and users.

This was my proposed transition plan. The aim was to release the changes in batches to minimize user disorientation as much as possible, accomodate essential dependencies, and benefit from agile development principles.

Improving the Timer component at Lytho:

The existing UX of the Timer feature—where creatives track the time they spend on each project—needed a UI fix. (Do you see how in the first image, the active timer grabs your attention the least?) Here are my instructions to developers.
