Challenge:
AP clerks were inundated with invoices from a set of vendors that Alpha Card used for inventory. Entering, reconciling and approving vendor invoices consumed 60-80 hours each week. AP department was overworked and understaffed.
Solution:
AP robot will take over the most time consuming tasks: extracting PDF invoices from email attachments, processing invoices for required fields and reconciling respective amounts. Plena’s web portal will be used for approving invoices. Finally, the robot will enter approved invoices into NetSuite.
