The reduction is part of Twitch parent company Amazon’s plans to let go of 9,000 workers across divisions including its AWS cloud and advertising units. About the Creator of this Doc
Hey there! My name is - I’m a CS + Interactive Design student at Pitt. I was previously a Product Manager Intern at Yahoo’s Ads Data Products team and a Growth Fellow at Coda.
I’ve always admired the work that employees at Twitch have done in delivering innovative and delightful experiences for its viewers and content creators, enabling people to make meaningful connections and form communities! My heart goes out to everyone that has been impacted by the recent layoffs at Twitch, and I just wanted to help in any way I can.
In Feb 2023, in light of the recent news about Yahoo’s layoffs, I created a doc on Coda. I just thought this would be a good resource to replicate for people at other companies impacted by layoffs, where they can add themselves to a collective list that's easily accessible for potential recruiters and hiring managers looking for new talent.
I was inspired by the and ’s “” doc (all credits go to them!! I’ve just borrowed their template) and created a Twitch-specific version of it. I hope this helps!
