Executive Communication, Roles, & Expectations

Communication Overview:
Communication is extremely important but how it is done specifically to myself is critical to our working success. From a technical perspective, I can reached by email, slack, and phone but depending on the severity of the needs to be communicated dictates which method to reach me by.

General questions & asks:
Use Slack or email for non-urgent matters. Expect a reply within 24 hours for emails and a quicker response on Slack.

Customer or Investor Issues:
The communication method should reflect the issue's urgency:
Sev 1: Immediate phone call/text with an action plan.
Sev 2: Slack message with a detailed report.
Sev 3: Email with the specific request.
Utilize your judgment for situations not listed.

Communication Expectations & Consequences:
Present issues with potential solutions.
Avoid passive-aggressive behavior; it will not be tolerated and may lead to dismissal.
Disrespectful conduct contrary to Ultraview's values will result in mediation and possible reassignment or dismissal.

Do’s & Don’t’s & Consequences
When communicating with me, please be clear and concise. If you're bringing a problem to my attention, I expect you to have thoughtfully considered potential solutions. Don't just present problems - be creative in your problem-solving and consider all available options. I will not accept clearly meant to undermine your fellow team members. I will absolutely not accept any reactionary or passive-aggressive behavior in any form. An example of passive aggression would be scoffing under your breath if something is not done the way that you would like it to be done, getting up and walking away from a meeting, or using explicative when something doesn’t go your way. We’re all adults here, not children and I expect you to act with dignity & respect when you speak to me, and broadly to your fellow Ultraview team. I am all for listening, meditating, and giving second chances but continued expressions of distaste in this manner will result in your dismissal from the company.
