C-Corp <> DAO

Main question:
How does the Cohere C-Corp relate to the DAO.
Right now: They are basically siloed. The council of the DAO, which are in the highest tier due to their higher level of engagement.
20 Year Vision:
C-Corp is a vehicle to the DAO’s vision/desires.
DAO has a tiered system in which members rise through the tiers through engagement, training , gaining capacities, education, mentorship, etc. In general, they rise through the tiers through extensive engagement in the community. Once they rise to the top tier (the council) they have power over the C-Corp.
The C-Corp is basically the operations/implementors of the DAO’s decisions.
How do we align the investor group with the DAO. Create filaments of trust, so that the DAO trusts when the investors say “No, we can’t do this” and the investors also trust when the DAO says “no, we can’t do this”
The RCLT model is the ultimate fail safe. If the C-Corp tries to do something that is outside the principles of the community land trust, it gets denied, based on the lease terms dictated by the operating agreement of the RCLT.
Action Steps // Takeaways:
Board of C-Corp are non-voting members of the DAO council. They are there for all the meetings. That way, if there is disagreement between the two groups (C-Corp and DAO) at least there is an understanding of why there is disagreement, and the sense making process by which the decision was made.
Eventually the two boards will be redundant, with the DAO “board” eventually replacing the C-Corp board
