Hey @everyone! Cohere has been accepted into Gitcoin‘s Grant Round 14, in the Climate Solutions category! :tada:

Gitcoin is the leading web3 crowdfunding platform that supports the democratic funding of public goods. Gitcoin's Climate Solutions funding round (which will take place from **June 8th-June 23rd**) is all about impact; the kind of impact that Cohere wants to make through on-site regenerative practices and economic/governance structure powered by web3.

Gitcoin works like other crowdfunding platforms you might be familiar with (think Kickstarter and Indiegogo), but uses a fund matching mechanism based on community participation. This model places **more** precedence on the diversity of contributors rather than the amount funded by each contributor; many hands makes light work! Add Gitcoin's matched funding to the mix, and we can see matches up to **20-50x** what we raise on our own!

4. Once you are on the profile section you will see a number of different sections, navigate over to the “Trust Bonus” section on the far right of your screen.

5. By completing some of the verifications you will increase your match ability. This is a super big deal since you can help us earn up to 150% on each dollar contributed.

7. You have give as little as $1 dollar to help us make a difference. We are targeting $25,000 through this grant that will be matched by Gitcoin.

Quadratic Funding is the mechanism we use to distribute funds based on community participation! With Quadratic Funding, the number of contributors matters more than the amount funded by each contributor, which pushes power (and responsibility!) to the edges.

When you pair QF with matching pool funds, you can get some pretty amazing results: the financial impact of your donation can be far higher than your individual donation! We’ve heard quite a few gasps of skepticism….is this too good to be true? At times, we see matching funds as high as 20-50x! This is not a bug!
