Boost the local economy:
Every £1 spent on local produce plausibly generates £2 in the local economy (Link).
The more we spend our money on things that are grown and produced locally, the higher the impact of every £1 spent on the local economy.
It’s just a simple rule of thumb that can change the world around us:
Buy from the nearest supplier you like and can afford. Our job st CircularKitchens is to make this easy for you and everyone!
Regenerate nature:
Every pound spent on local food and beverages from certified organic or ‘ecological-by-reputation’ farms actually contributes to the supply and demand battle for the future of our nature and our food system.
The UK has one of the most degraded environments in the world! Source: . Let’s regenerate our environment by supporting local organic and ecological (by reputation) farms near you!
How?
Turn your kitchen into a circular kitchen.
1) Become a plastic-free shopper (As much as possible - Calculate your plastic-free score!)
2) Aim for zero waste going to your general-waste bin (so compost and recycle and hopefully soon we can add a material compost bin so we’ll have very little left for general waste as we become plastic free).
3) Maximise Local and ecological content of ingredients (buy from as local farms as possible, and when affordable to you go for organic or ecological by reputation (available at your local CK Suppliers).

We need a materials composting bin to significantly reduce waste to landfill and incineration.
