In 2023, visitors accessed the website on mobile 55% of the time, compared to 36% on desktop.
In 2022, 37% of visitors came to the site on mobile. I think a large part of the reason for this is that much of the traffic coming through Google Ads was visitors on mobile devices.
One of the things that’s notable in the data about which devices were used by visitors to the website is that the average Engagement time is much higher on desktop than it is on mobile (38 seconds compared to 16 seconds). Which points to Desktop users as a more important segment of visitors.
