International Receptionist Day is on May 11th, 2022. Originally started in 1991 as just National Receptionist Day in the United States, it’s a day to show appreciation for the men and women who run your office. Over the last year, your receptionist may have taken on some new responsibilities as many teams shifted to a distributed model. Use this day to celebrate your receptionist for all their hard work.
In 1942, the National Secretaries Association was founded to advance the administrative profession (the organization is now known as the ). The receptionist profession gained some popularity with Pam Beesly from The Office in 2005: Ways to celebrate International Receptionist Day

Tell your teammates
Before May 12th, message your teammates via email, Slack, or Microsoft Teams to let them know the day is coming up. This way they can send a message to your receptionist on National Receptionist Day!
