Follow the steps below to get your automations up and running.

1️⃣ Add Weekly Recurring Tasks

Add a row for each occurrence of a recurring task. For example, if you want to make dinner 2 times a week, you'll want to add two rows - one for each time. If you don't add a specific day of week, the due date will default to Saturday.

2️⃣ Add Daily Recurring Tasks

3️⃣ Turn on your automations to power recurring tasks! (🖥 only)

The automation feature is used to generate recurring tasks on an on going basis and send you reminders. Don't forget to turn them on!
How to turn on an automation:
Click the Settings icon (
settings icon.png
) in the top right of the toolbar and click on the Automation icon (
) in the side panel. Click on the specified rule and toggle their state from off to on.

4️⃣ Set Up Email Notifications (🖥 only)

This step is optional but we've included automations to send yourself daily and weekly reminders about your tasks.
You'll need to open the respective automations on the left, open the "Then" section and add your email in the "To" field.
Lastly, don't forget to turn on your automations like you did in step 3.
You can customize your reminder emails by going to the respective section on the left.

If you're planning to share the doc:
Switch your packs connection to a private account by click on on the puzzle piece icon (
puzzle.png
) in the settings menu.
Make sure the automation is running as you and not as Automation Bot. This ensure that only you have access to make edits to the automation.
