Overview
To balance out the roundness of KLARO’s logo and circular key visuals, we use a modular ‘bento’ concept/grid system to contain content and imagery. Playing with the idea of accuracy, trustworthiness, and precision in the brand, layouts follow a grid system that fits nicely within the frame.
Construction
Layout is geometric, thoughtfully measured and placed, using rectangles and squares to reflect the restraint, professionalism and attention to detail of the eyewear brand through squares and rectangles.
This layout can be applied to print collateral such as brochures —
As a modular grid system on digital applications such as web —
Or in simpler collateral where rectangular shapes are not necessarily visible, but still follows a grid system to keep things aligned and structured —
Misuse
Do not use rounded corners.
Do not have different alignments present on a layout (i.e., left-aligned header, and center aligned icons).
As much as possible, keep everything in a layout either only left-aligned or only center-aligned.
