You likely know more people than you think you do. Mapping out your network can be helpful when you set out to make your fundraising goals.
Use the workbook below to help determine what a good goal might be.
Channel: The means in which you’re going to ask.
Number of contacts: how many people you’d like to approach.
Ex: “I know I’ll see 6 people next Sunday, 7 at an upcoming lunch, and I’ll also ask some family, so I’ll commit to individually asking 20 people in person this month.”
Conversion rate: the rate at which people will likely say yes to your ask.
Fundraising Goal: Let’s assume the average donation amount is $10. Your formula to determine a fundraising goal should be: (number of contacts)*(conversion rate)*10 = (fundraising goal)
