Microsoft Documents and Google Docs

Which One Should You Use?

Microsoft Apps and Google Apps have their pros and cons. Most of them work somewhat interchangeably. You can create a Google Doc and download it as a MS Word file (or other types of files.) You can also open a MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel in their corresponding Google Apps. However, Microsoft Apps will not open Google files.
Personally, I prefer Google Apps for most work because they have most of the MS Office features, but is much more simplified. However for this course, feel free to use whichever you are most comfortable using.

The same process can be used in other Google Apps such as Google Slides and Google Sheets.
