Who counts towards the active house count?

Active members, including graduating seniors, are counted towards the active house count.

Can recently crossed new members, associates, affiliates, or inactives attend and count towards the 45% quota?

What happens if my chapter doesn’t meet the minimum 45% attendance?


Am I able to opt out of certain parts of Convention to have a reduced ticket cost?

No, we have calculated the cost of all Convention logistics with the expectation that attendance will be on par with previous years.

How do I request a refund?

There are no refunds for Convention registration. If you are no longer able to attend Convention and are not able to transfer your registration to another sister, please contact us at .

Can I transfer my registration?

Yes, you can transfer your registration. Please email us at to request a registration transfer. The last day to request a registration transfer is 4/18.


Can I check-in/check-out early?

Check-in: early check-in at the hotel is available on a case-by-case basis. If you would like to check in before the 4pm check-in time, please ask at the front desk.
Check-out: yes, you can check-out anytime prior to 11am of your departure date.

Can non-aKDPhi guests stay with me in the hotel room?

No, non-aKDPhi guests may not stay with you in the hotel room. All hotel rooms booked under alpha Kappa Delta Phi for Convention 2022 are for aKDPhi Convention attendees only.

Can I stay a few days early or stay a few days later than official Convention dates?

Yes, however, you will need to make separate reservations with the hotel.

Will there be transportation provided to and from the airports?

No, please utilize public transportation or rideshare services to and from the airport.


What happens if someone tests positive for COVID?

If I test positive for COVID during Convention 2022, is aKDPhi paying for my hotel and flight?

No, aKDPhi will not cover the cost of hotel. Anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 will be responsible for their own hotel and lodging.
No, aKDPhi will not be covering the cost to reschedule your flight. The member is responsible for reaching out to the airline to request a rescheduled flight due to a positive COVID test. Many airlines will allow for free rescheduling of your flight if you test positive.
