Intake form & Sourcing Strategy

Use the intake form for any intake call you have with a client for a specific role. Only have an intake call if a client already has a job description and is actually ready to hire. Make sure you prepare well and have your questions ready.

About the Intake form

💪 Pro tip:
Make sure that the hiring manager is present at the intake call
Make sure the client explains clearly why the role is interesting instead of the company (that is a separate question)
Don’t be afraid to ask questions if you don’t understand something
Be clear on what you expect from the client at the end of the call and make sure the client confirms (feedback in 48 hours, clear feedback on yes/no on a candidate)
Sell the whole 🧊 ice berg: explain what the next steps are, explain how competitive the market is and use your actual experience, set the rules of engagement, make sure to schedule fixed times to discuss your progress and confirm the means of communication
