LinkedIn has recently introduced the ability to provide an SEO title and description for your profile page.
You can now customize your SEO title and description when posting articles on LinkedIn for better search engine visibility.
You can modify the title and description tags of any existing or newly published articles on LinkedIn.
Why this matters. If you’re utilising LinkedIn for enlarging an audience for your company or even for clients, then you want to make the most of every opening that can help increase your search visibility and recognizability.
This is a straightforward SEO strategy – maybe you already were titling your headlines diligently to accommodate search optimisation.
But it is also a great chance to specifically enhance your content for search.
To learn how it works, click Write article from the Publishing option in the article navigation pulldown menu, then select Settings.
When optimising your LinkedIn article with SEO, you only have 60 characters to work with. LinkedIn promises to use the added SEO title on search engine results pages instead of the article title.
Write an SEO-friendly description of up to 160 characters: Enhance your website's visibility when you optimise for search engines. Increase rankings, reach more customers, and improve online presence with SEO techniques.
Notices become noticeable in search. LinkedIn is further escalating the visibility of Newsletters in search outcomes.
Now if someone produces a newsletter on LinkedIn, it will be visible below their name with a Subscribe option beside it.
Coming soon, LinkedIn will offer the option to schedule articles and newsletters, which will work similar to scheduled posts.
