Rooms is a distinct zone in a virtual event where attendees can group together in pairs, connect audio/video, share their screens to join discussions, and interact with fellow attendees even with the organizer/host. It aims you recreate the same experience in a physical event where attendees sit at a table in a private or public space and interact with each other. You can allow a maximum of 10 attendees in each room in pairs of 2,4,6,8, or 10. There is also an option to change the room capacity to large (up to 100 attendees).
Adding rooms
To add rooms,
Go to Zone > Rooms.
Select the rooms type. There are 2 types of rooms in Zuddl
General Rooms: visible to all attendees and anyone can join upon the availability of seats. You can add up to 100 general rooms. Click + Add Rooms to add a general room.
Private Rooms: can be customized to be visible only to particular ticket tiers. You can add up to 100 private rooms. Click + Add Private Rooms to create a private room.
On the room settings popup,
Select the seating capacity of the room (2, 4, 6, 8, 10) from the Seats Per Room dropdown.
Select the Number of Rooms (from 1- 97).
Click Add. The created rooms appear in the Rooms zone and in the list of created rooms for a particular room type.
You can add more rooms with different capacities using the Add More Rooms button or create a Private Rooms in a similar manner.
Editing the Room
To edit and customize a created room, click on Edit Room as shown in the below image:
Room Details
To edit the room details:
Enter a suitable room Name of up to 50 characters. Room names are displayed on the room card. This is mandatory.
Select the number of seats ( in pairs of 2,4,6,8,10 seats) from the Seats Per Room dropdown.
Select the Allow Users to Edit Table Name checkbox to allow the attendees to rename the table.
Turn on the Is Large room enabled? toggle to change it to a large room (with 100 seats).
Enter the Description of up to 250 characters. This is displayed to the participants inside the room.
You can add the tags configured for events to filter the rooms.
Attending the event
Inside the Rooms zone, an attendee can view all the available rooms.
Note: Private Rooms can be viewed only with specific ticket tiers.
They click on the Enter Room button for a particular room. The Enter Room button for each room appears when they hover on the particular Room card.
Upon entering, the attendee tests their camera and microphone and then clicks Join Table to enter the room.
Inside the room, attendees can see and interact with the other attendees.
