I want to create a
filter
for all products that use the same color.
Create Metaobject List
Create
Select “
multipe values”
Add name/definition
Select the color you want to use
Save
Add as many values as you want
I want to create a filter value for prints that shows and image
Create Metaobject List
Click the file reference metaobject, and then click Select image
Add name/definition
Select the file that you want to add and then click Done.
Save
I want to create a
collection
for all products that are a certain color ex. red
From your Shopify admin, go to
Products
>
Collections
.
Click
Create collection
.
Enter a title for the collection.
In the
Collection type
section, click
Automated
and then do the following:
Select whether products need to match all conditions or any condition to be included in the collection.
Select
Color
from the first column drop-down.
Select
is equal to
from the second column.
Type the hex code you used in the metaobject for adding filter swatches
Click
Save
. In the
Products
section that's displayed, the products that match the conditions are automatically added to the collection.
I want to hide certain collections from the front end store without making it not live.
This is helpful if you don’t want it to show on search but want to use it for like an email
Select Collections
Navigate to the
Metafields
section, where the applicable metafield definitions display in a list.
Click the integer metafield, select one value
Min value = 0 (SHOW COLLECTION), max value = 1 (HIDES COLLECTION)
Click
Save
and apply to appropriate place
