Lesson 04: Identify Your First 25 Highly Qualified Leads
As you prepare this list of 25 Highly Qualified Leads, remember this is the start of building your speaking sales pipeline that will help you get booked and paid to speak.
The type of contacts that you should include, will fall into 1 of 3 categories...
1. Contacts, either for specific events or at specific organizations, that you wish to build relationships with to help you get booked as a speaker, workshop facilitator, or MC.
2. Contacts that you already have relationships with that you can reach out to, to discuss speaking at their event or for their organization.
3. Events you're interested in speaking at.
Please note: Our team will follow your lead on the types of contacts and companies you have indicated are the best fit to grow your speaking business. You will read more about what we will provide to you in Lesson 16.
Additionally, you may want to consider adding events and proposal deadlines even that have already passed so that you have them on the radar for future years. However, focus on the most current and aligned Decision Makers and opportunities that have the highest potential first, and then drop back to other possibilities.
